I made some big progress on my Just My Type quilt by Lori Holt today!
I finished the bottom section, including hand-appliquing all the letters, something I've never done before! I used Lori Holt's appliqué method with sew-in interfacing, and while the typewriter came together pretty easily, those letter blocks definitely kept me on my toes with all the seams. 😊
I even tucked my quilt label into the bottom corner of the typewriter so I won't have to piece the backing later. After piecing this much on the front, I figured I'd keep the back as simple as possible!
I always love trying something new, even when it pushes me outside my comfort zone.
