Stephane Roncada from Rainbow Studios was kind enough to sit down with us to break down EVERYTHING coming in Season 5 of MX vs ATV Legends, and there’s a lot to unpack.
We dive into the massive v5.0 update, including the long-awaited Replay Mode, plus a brand-new Daytona Historical DLC featuring multiple eras of Daytona, complete with authentic visual dressing from each time period and the 2026 version of the track.
But that’s just the beginning.
Roncada also gives us insight into what’s coming throughout Season 5, including three massive fantasy national tracks inspired by Scotland, Mexico, and Switzerland, along with highly requested features like cross-platform play, a server browser, and a full animation overhaul.
We also talk about gameplay improvements like time-based penalties instead of track resets, expanded player statistics, and the new Tuning 2.0 leaderboard system, where you can analyze top players’ bike setups. Add in quality-of-life upgrades like gear set presets, split plastics customization, and even an overhead map with teleporting, and Season 5 is shaping up to be one of the biggest updates yet.
