Muringayila - Cherupayar Curry / Kerala Naadan Style Curry / Drumstick leaves - Green gram Curry / Side dish for Plain Rice and Kanji
Ingredients:
Green gram ( Cherupayar ) - 100 g ( 1/2 cup )
Carrot - 1 ( medium size )
Green chilli - 3
Garlic - 3 to 4
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Water - 3 cup ( 750 ml )
For grinding :
Grated coconut coconut - 1 cup
Green chilli - 2
Garlic - 4 ( medium size )
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Water
For preparation:
Drumstick leaves ( Muringayila ) - 3 cup
Salt
Hot water - 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cup
For tempering:
Coconut oil - 2 tbsp
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Sliced shallots - 2
Dry red chilli - 2
