Moving From Studio to Cargo Without Breaking Your Projects | Greyscalegorilla

Greyscalegorilla Guide 6 days ago

Description

Switching from Studio to Cargo doesn't mean you should delete your old library. If you clear out your legacy Studio assets, your existing scenes will show up with missing files. Cargo won't automatically replace them.

Keep your old Studio assets right where they are, so your active projects stay intact. You can set up your Cargo download location on your drive and use it alongside your existing library. Introduce Cargo into your new scenes and projects instead. This is where all new 3D assets, tools, and scripts live.

Test it out on a new project, see how it fits your workflow, and let us know what you think.
