A no fuss cake to bake!! A perfectly fresh delicious dessert for traveling, pool parties, family gatherings, or what ever else you can think of!! It's a CROWD PLEASER EVERY TIME!! ENJOY, my friends!! :)
MOUNTAIN DEW CAKE W/ GLAZE
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease & flour a 13' by 9" baking pan. Set aside.
1 (15.25 oz) box Yellow Cake
1 (3.4 oz) box Vanilla Instant Pudding
1-1/4 cups Mountain Dew
4 eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
Glaze Topping
3 cups powdered sugar
5 tablespoons Mountain Dew
1. In a large mixing bowl add the box cake and pudding. Gentle stir. Add eggs, oil, and Mountain Dew.
2. Using a hand mixer, on low-speed, combine ingredients until well blended (about 30 seconds). Increase speed to medium-high. Continue to mix cake for an additional two (2) minutes.
3. Pour cake into prepare baking pan.
4. Bake 30-35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in middle of cake come out clean.
5. Cool MOUNTAIN DEW CAKE completely.
6. Whisk together powdered sugar and 5 tablespoons of Mountain Dew until smooth. Pour evenly over cake.
TIPS: Store in airtight container up to 2 days!!
