Firstly, the bike wasn't in the wrong lane..THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN ZOOMED IN BY YOUTUBE FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAKING IT PORTRAIT VIEW SO RIDER IS NOT AS CLOSE AS IT LOOKS.
The first lane is ahead only, there is no "left turn".. the first exit, which has two lanes in and out. The 2nd lane is ahead and right. The mini was in the wrong lane.
Let's say, for arguments sake, the bike WAS in the wrong lane, which it wasn't...all the more reason not to sit next to the car, don't you think?

Here's a motorcycle riding tip from an old upload of mine. A couple of months ago, EXACTLY this situation at this exact roundabout, seriously injured a biker. If he'd seen this, he may have avoided being hurt.
