I went back to the St Louis Art Museum to check up on their elevators. The Otis in the center has been modernized. Whoever did this did a nice job... It runs well, the new panels blend right in, and it still has a lot of its original character. Funny enough, even though this elevator is quite large, it's the smallest of the 3 in the main museum building.
