Briette V. Karanfilian, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Penn Medicine in Princeton who specializes in inflammatory bowel disease, including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, as well as colon cancer screening and general GI care. Dr. Karanfilian is passionate about helping IBD patients whose symptoms can be deeply disruptive to every aspect of their lives — and she's energized by the growing number of treatments available to help them.
