Despite professing to be a genuine dog lover off-screen, Schoenaerts dug into why Craig Gillespie wanted him to push Krem's menace to the limit, the hours spent in the chair for his elaborate "suit of armor" look, and how he ended up inventing Krem's own alien language from scratch.
