As Swifts return to the David Attenborough Building and nest for the first time at Darwin College, Dr Mike Rands, Master of Darwin College, talks about these magical birds how we can help them. Numbers are plummeting and they have been placed on the UK’s Red List of Birds of Conservation Concern. Dr Rands says the Common Swift in the UK urgently needs our help, and explains one way we can do that is by putting up swift nest boxes, or installing swift bricks.
