Hello My Beautiful People! Welcome back to the Garden! Last week I revisited a wonderful technique, the transparent base Modern Minimal! (You can watch Fly Away here if you missed it https://youtu.be/1XCRLzJN4jE) I loved the color palette, but there were a few things I wanted to change with it. I really wanted the Amsterdam Pearl Green to show up, but it was very close to the Amaze-Mint that I used. I also wanted more of that gorgeous Metallic Cobalt Blue in the pour, so tonight we are changing a few things up, to hopefully get the results I want. Art With Intention!

I really love that dark base color, Goldens Prussian Blue. Seeing that ethereal Pearl Green float on top is wonderful and really gorgeous! I really like the piece in a vertical orientation.. HoA suggested it looked like the layers of a jellyfish. I agree it definitely has a marine vibe to it!
I think if I was to do this again I would use a third less paint. I mean the original lines that I put down. I would like to see more negative space in between them and create opportunities for that dragged look that I love so much.
