C-SPAN's "Ceasefire" — Republican strategist Marc Short said President Trump's primetime address on election integrity raises unanswered questions.
"If China was interfering in 2020 elections, did they not in '24 when Donald Trump was elected?" he questioned. "If you're going to allege that this was China influence, then … why is the Trump 2.0 so soft on China?"
Mr. Short served as chief of staff to Vice President Mike Pence and White House director of legislative affairs under President Trump.
