Description
Manchester United have confirmed the proposed location for their new 100,000-capacity stadium as part of the long-term transformation of the Old Trafford area.
The proposed stadium will sit approximately 350 metres north-west of the existing Old Trafford stadium and form the centrepiece of a new Stadium District within the wider Trafford Wharfside development.
The district is planned as a purpose-built destination for sport, entertainment and year-round activity. United hope to be playing at their proposed new home by 2035, although the striking stadium design could still change as the project develops.
