Attended the Preview Night of Repertory Philippines' "Man of La Mancha" June 4, 2026.
It is a show close to my heart because I played the title role in 2005. This revival 21 years later, directed by Nelsito Gomez, has a new take which today's audience received warmly. Cervantes/Don Quixote is played by theater stalwart Nonie Buencamino supported by Katrine Sunga as Aldonsa/Dulcinea and Marvin Ong as Sancho Panza.
