In this case, it became a guitar built for Axel Ritt—shaped around years of experience on stage and a clear idea of what a working musician expects from the instrument in his hands. Built in Germany, this Framus Custom Shop creation reflects that process from the first piece of mahogany to the final setup, where craftsmanship, precision, and careful attention to detail come together without ever losing sight of the player behind the design.
Finished in a custom black and white transparent finish over a AAAA flamed maple top, the guitar pairs classic construction with modern performance. A scalloped tigerstripe ebony fingerboard, active EMG 81 and 89 pickups with coil splitting, GraphTech Ratio locking tuners, and a TonePros bridge create an instrument designed to respond with confidence whether the music calls for articulate clean passages or high-gain rhythm work. More than a showcase of individual specifications, this build reflects what the Framus Custom Shop has always stood for: creating instruments that are made to be played, trusted, and carried from the workshop straight onto the stage.
