Producer and artist @MadameGandhi takes us inside her creative process as she builds a lofi ambient track entirely around field recordings captured on a walk through a London park. Birdsong, crackling branches, distant footsteps, the hum of the city at a distance — all become raw material for the track.
Watch as she imports those recordings into Ableton Live and uses the Splice integration Search with Sound feature, which analyzes the sonic character of her field recordings and surfaces compatible samples, loops, and textures from Splice's library.
