Because of the incredible generosity of The Hillbilly Kitchen and the many supporters who rallied behind this effort, Johnson County Long-Term Recovery Group now has an excavator!
This isn’t just a piece of equipment—it’s a tool of hope. It will help us clear debris, prepare home sites, improve drainage, assist with septic projects, and continue rebuilding lives throughout Johnson County following Hurricane Helene.
Every scoop of dirt moved represents a family getting one step closer to home. Every project completed is a reminder that when communities come together, amazing things happen.
