We decided to do a bit of testing out of pure curiosity, just to see what the results would be if we rigged using 4 x Petzl Spin L1D pulleys (one way ratcheting pulleys). 2 at the top, 3rd at the base and then the rope back up a 4th a few feet higher at the base. The load is 36Kg, what will the load be on the 3rd and 4th pulley for both systems? Why is the load that?Are you surprised?
