From cruising around Madrid on the Real Madrid men’s first team bus and training at Valdebebas to learning about the importance of nutrition, the Abbott Dream Team lives the dream.
In 2025, these 16 young soccer players were selected across five U.S. cities to travel with us and our partner Real Madrid to Spain, train at Valdebebas and learn elite nutrition education. Here’s their experience and the “why” behind the Abbott Dream Team.
“Health and wellness – and having nutrition top of mind – can really be the differentiator,” said Pam Nisevich Bede, head of nutrition for Abbott’s Lingo consumer biowearable. “Where’s your mindset? What’s building your plate? What’s going into your body? Whether it’s for general health, performance or energy, nutrition really is one of the easiest things you can change and fuel your health.”
