Hey, what's up everybody, Terry White here from Adobe! If you are a Lightroom Classic user running Windows, this quick update is specifically for you.I've been closely following the Lightroom subreddit and reading your comments regarding performance lags and crashes.
To help get to the bottom of this, I previously created a dedicated post asking for your machine specs and inviting you to join the Adobe pre-release program to work directly with our engineers.I am thrilled to report that real progress has been made! The April release addresses some of your most specific concerns, drastically improving performance when moving sliders on large images with lots of masks on high-performance Windows machines.
This is just the first step—we are not done yet. Please go update today, test out these specific areas, and let the engineering team and me know how it's working for you in the comments below or back on the subreddit.
