Description
In addition to the new top-of-the-line version, the EV2 is offered in the progressively more advanced trim levels Light, Air, and Earth, as well as the sporty GT-Line, on which the Black-Line is based. The front-wheel-drive SUV can also be ordered with the standard 42.2 kWh battery in the Air and Earth trims. The EV2 Light is available exclusively with this smaller battery, which offers a range of up to 317 kilometers (with 16-inch wheels). Prices for the electric SUV start at €26,600 for the base Light version, which will be delivered from October.
The EV2 is the second electric car, after the EV4 compact car, to be manufactured at Kia's European plant in Žilina, Slovakia. Series production of the Air and Earth trims with the standard battery began in March of this year. As of today, the versions with the 61 kWh long-range battery, including the GT-Line and Black-Line, are also rolling off the assembly line at the state-of-the-art production facility.
