This week’s International Standard Sunday School lesson follows one of the most powerful restoration stories in the Bible—the life of Simon Peter. Although Peter boldly confessed Jesus as the Christ, he later denied Him three times. Yet, after the resurrection, Jesus lovingly restored Peter and recommissioned him for ministry.

In this lesson, we examine Peter’s confession, Jesus’ warning about Satan’s attack, Peter’s denial, and Christ’s gracious restoration. This study reminds every believer that failure does not have to be final when we return to the Lord.
