This Set was recorded for my YouTube channel in 2015 and just became my second most listened to Mix with over one million plays worldwide and counting despite the fact that its totally "Banned in The USA" on The Tube because of copyright restrictions. (But I just noticed this evening: June 17, 2026 that the mix was back up and running after being blocked for nearly 10 years in the States). This "Funky" mix features music from one of my all time Favorite groups, The Incredible Band: Jamiroquai! Please Listen, Comment, Share and Enjoy!!!

I still remember the first time I stumbled on that first Jamiroquai CD. The year was 1993 and I walked by that Disc many times while shopping for 12 inch House Cuts at Record Time Music Store, right outside of Detroit. This day however, I remember picking up the CD "Emergency on Planet Earth" and being struck by the title and the cover, which was plain Black & White, but I could see through the side of the jewel case and see they had major Color and some Cool Art work on the inside. (I was intrigued) Mind you I still hadn't heard One Note from the album! Well I took a chance that day and I was so glad I did. Jamiroquai's sound was so Jazzy Funky and just different. I was hooked... My favorite tune on that first album: "Too Young To Die" leads off this Mix and "Lifeline" from their last official release: "Rock Dust Light Star" concludes the set. I'm really proud to have Remixes from all Seven albums represented on this playlist with; "Supersonic", "Cosmic Girl" and "Space Cowboy" leading the way. And I'm also proud to feature The Groups many different styles: Funk, Acid Jazz, Downtempto, R&B, and of course House! So if you enjoy Jamiroquai or just want to hear something different; This Mix is For You!!!
