Pardoned J6er Jake Lang showed up with a few supporters to hold signs disparaging Black people at the BET Awards in Los Angeles, where they were kicked and had bottles thrown at them by an angry and growing crowd.
As Jake Lang and his friends continued away from the BET Awards, people continued to angrily confront them, one taking the sign out of his hand reading "Black Parents are Failures."
Police did not respond as the scene moved through the middle of the road.
One protester put a traffic cone over pardoned January 6er Jake Lang's head like a dunce cap, prompting laughs as others chased him and demanded "get out of here!"
Lang took the cone after a second person put it onto his head.
Jake Lang appeared to approach traffic officers seeking help, but one walked away from him and another seemed not to respond as Lang eventually led the crowd away from them, unassisted.
"Keep running!" the crowd demanded as Jake Lang and his supporters got into the bed of a truck.
Water, their "Black parents are failures" signs, and other objects were thrown at them as they sped away.
