Even the salary story is clear: roles in the ₹50 lakh+ band grew around 55%, with strong demand for specialized, senior talent.
In this episode, I break down what's actually happening in the job market and three things you can do about it:
Don't switch away from your domain — layer AI on top of it. A finance person who knows banking AND can direct AI is far more valuable than a generic engineer building the same tool.
Build proof, not just certifications. Certifications are fine, but showing something you actually built — publicly — matters more.
Specialization now beats years of experience. Companies like TCS and Wipro are restructuring pay around capability. A specialist can move ahead faster than tenure alone allows.
