On June 26, 2026, Fawzia Amin Sido, a Yazidi survivor who endured ten years of ISIS captivity, addressed UN Watch’s official side event at the 62nd session of the UN Human Rights Council, “Women’s Rights Under Extremism and Conflict,” sharing her story of enslavement, and calling on the German government to grant her sick mother and brother humanitarian entry to Germany so she can finally be reunited with her family.
