Snow in June, Wild Bison & Old Faithful — Exploring Yellowstone National Park
Ten years ago, we made a decision that changed everything. We stepped away from the ordinary to explore the wild places of the world with our three children. Today, our kids are grown, we’ve become grandparents for the first time, but the road is still calling.
Join us this week as we head back into the wild heart of Montana and Yellowstone National Park. We kick things off with an unexpected June snowstorm (and some lightning!) in West Yellowstone before heading into the backcountry to explore a section of the new Montana BDR.
From cozy kale soup in the National Forest to incredible wildlife encounters—including bison herds, elk, coyotes, and a tender moment with a mother moose and her newborn calf—this trip reminded us why we started this journey a decade ago.
The seasons are changing, our family is growing, but the adventure is just getting started.
