Ironman 70.3 Triathlon to Proceed in Sandusky Despite Wildfire Smoke

The Ironman 70.3 triathlon will take place Sunday in Sandusky Bay despite wildfire smoke forcing cancellations of some pre-race events. Over 1,500 athletes will compete in a 1.2-mile swim in Sandusky Bay, a 56-mile bike ride through Erie and Sandusky counties, and a 13.1-mile run through Sandusky.
