Ira Glass: The Government Sets Out to Prove that Antifa is Real

This American Life Short Yesterday

Description

In Texas this year, the government set out to prove that Antifa is real — in the first federal case charging people with material support to terrorists for their involvement.

But when you look at what the jury actually had to decide, the questions, "Does Antifa exist?" and "Were these defendants Antifa?" were never on the table. They were asked something else entirely.

This American Life producer Zoe Chace spent three weeks in the courtroom, where no recording of any kind was allowed.
