New Zealand actor Sam Neill died suddenly on Monday (July 13th) aged 78 after recovering from cancer, his family said in a statement, that he had been undergoing treatment for stage 3 angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, a type of blood cancer, having been diagnosed the previous year.
