Miguel Leon-Fregoso, also known by his alias Moderfire (or Mode) 1/2 of Formula Abstract,, was a prominent underground hip-hop emcee and graffiti artist in San Diego, California. He was an influential figure in the local San Diego hip-hop community, serving as an inspiration behind community platforms like Dago Hip Hop before his tragic passing. on July 29, 2008 Miguel joined the 27 club. Active as both a savage emcee and a skilled graffiti writer, he left a lasting mark on the local visual and musical underground. Widely recognized for his outgoing and unifying nature, he helped connect various figures within San Diego's creative scenes.
