Episode 12 of my ‘Old Haunts/New Jaunts’ series: Ideal Lighting at Blea Moor? In this vlog, I film Stanier Black 5 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier passing Blea Moor signal box, about 3/4 mile north of Ribblehead Viaduct. Whilst the conditions were good, it was disappointing to miss what I considered to be the ideal lighting conditions for the subject, by a few seconds. A common occurrence on the S&C! A sheep also gets a little too inquisitive with one of my cameras. The train was the Winter Cumbrian Mountain Express of 28 February 2026.
