Pink Martini's popular concert favorite "Ich dich liebe" was, as bandleader Thomas Lauderdale reminds the audience, originally sung by Mamie Van Doren in the 1964 German Western "Freddy und das Lied der Prärie" ("Freddy and the Song of the Prairie"). Written by Lotar Olias, Max Kolpé and Karl Vibach, the song was recorded on Pink Martini's 2013 album "Get Happy." This compilation, featuring Storm Large, is comprised of performances from Pink Martini's 2024 European tour.
