In this video, I modify my Speedway Motors '28-29 Model A roadster windshield to better fit the proportions of the Coupster. The windshield already came with a 2” chop from Speedway, but it still sat taller than I wanted, so I decided to cut an additional 2.5” out of it to get the lower, more aggressive look I was after.
Along with chopping the frame even more, I also had to modify the windshield posts to make everything work together correctly.
The goal with this build has always been getting the proportions right, and this windshield transformation made a huge difference in the overall stance and profile of the hot rod.
