Who is the greatest NBA champion of the 2020s?
That’s the question we’re answering today as I take the last eight NBA champions and throw them into one epic series playoff bracket on NBA 2K26 with live games simulation. From Kawhi Leonard’s 2019 Toronto Raptors to the 2026 New York Knicks, every team enters this tournament in their championship form with one goal... prove they’re the best team of this era.
The bracket is stacked with legendary squads. Can the 2020 Lakers and LeBron James dominate once again? Will Giannis and the 2021 Bucks power their way to another title? Can Steph Curry and the 2022 Warriors remind everyone why they’re one of the greatest dynasties in NBA history? Or will newer champions like the Nuggets, Celtics, Thunder, or Knicks rise to the top? Throughout the tournament we’ll see some of the biggest stars of this generation face off against one another: LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, Jayson Tatum, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Brunson, and more. There are dream matchups everywhere you look, and by the end of this simulation we’ll finally have an answer to one of the biggest debates in basketball.
