But what would happen if that legendary team suddenly entered the 2026 NBA Playoffs as the 7th seed? With prime Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green all reunited, the Warriors now have to battle through a stacked Western Conference featuring teams like the Thunder, Nuggets, Lakers, Spurs, and Timberwolves. Could modern NBA teams finally stop this dynasty, or would the greatest superteam ever dominate the league once again? In this NBA 2K26 simulation, we’re playing through the 2017 Warriors playoffs to find out what happens, who gets upset, and whether the 2017 Warriors can capture another championship in today’s NBA.
