David Rbenstein: "When you write a book, are you always thinking it might be made into a movie?"
Ben Mezrich: "I'm only writing it if it's going to be made into a movie. Very early in my career, I do things a little backwards, then a lot of the writers that that are out there. So I find a story. I research the story as much as I can. I hang out with the characters, you know, me and the Winklevoss are going to bars at two in the morning, and then I write a proposal, which is a 10 to 15 page treatment. I send it out to Hollywood first, and I sell a movie or a television show. If I don't sell a movie or television show, I scrap it and I move on to the next project."
