Description
I embark on a challenging 43-day/220+km snowshoe expedition to explore the extreme sub-arctic winter environment of Labrador with my Husky, Bear. A land with wilderness seldom, if ever, seen by the human eye. We haul sleds, camp and navigate through temperatures down to -50 Celsius, snowstorms, and around bad ice where one wrong step could be our last. Remote rivers, lakes, bush, barrens, mountains, valleys, marshlands and more lie in our path. We carry rations, but due to the hard work, they're never enough. So I must depend on game and fish for extra fuel and to keep from going too hungry. How will we make out? Come along to find out.
