During a special edition of Washington Week, moderator Jeffrey Goldberg posed a “small” question for The New York Times’ Peter Baker as the panel looked back at America’s storied history.
“Is the post-World War II, international, liberal order created and maintained by the United States over?" Goldberg asked.
"Yes," Baker said. "Our understanding of what we thought the world order was for the last 80 years is over."
