Set up your NETGEAR Nighthawk WiFi 7 router in four stages: unbox, connect, power on, and configure with the Nighthawk app. This guide walks through the full process, from restarting your modem to creating your WiFi name, password and admin login, and ends with a firmware update that keeps your router secure.
APPLIES TO
This setup process works for all Nighthawk WiFi 7 routers, including the RS700S, RS600, RS500, RS300, RS200, RS140 and RS100. A separate modem is required for cable internet, and the router works with any ISP.

Stage 1: Unboxing and included accessories
