🕌 In this lecture delivered at Point Fortin Masjid in Trinidad on 26 Muharram 1447 AH (2025), Sheikh Imran N. Hosein examines one of the most neglected dimensions of the Qur'an—how it should be recited in order to become a source of healing, protection, and guidance during the trials of the end times.
📘 The lecture begins by reflecting on Surah Al-'Asr, explaining that humanity has entered an age of immense loss, confusion, and moral decline. Sheikh Imran argues that true survival belongs only to those who hold firmly to faith, righteous conduct, truth, and patience.
🌙 A major focus of this lecture is the relationship between the recitation of the Qur'an, sacred time, and the lunar calendar. Drawing upon the Qur'an, Hadith, and Islamic eschatology, he explains why Muslims should reconnect with Allah's divinely ordained system of time by beginning each month's Qur'an recitation with the sighting of the crescent moon and following a structured monthly cycle of recitation.

Particular attention is given to the Prophet's ﷺ manner of receiving and reciting revelation, the importance of slow and reflective recitation (Tarteel), the distinction between revelation (Wahy) and recitation, and why understanding the Qur'an is inseparable from reciting it correctly.
