To manage your active sessions, open your Google Colab interface. Navigate directly to the top menu bar and click on the "Runtime" tab. From the dropdown menu, select "Manage sessions". A new dialogue box will pop up displaying every single notebook that is currently consuming RAM and GPU power across your account. You will be able to see the exact hardware allocated to each active file.

To kill a session and free up your compute units, simply click the trash can icon or the terminate button next to the notebook you want to close. This instantly shuts down the virtual machine and stops the resource drain immediately. Getting into the habit of actively managing and terminating your idle sessions is essential for getting the most out of both free and Colab Pro tiers.
