For years, Ariharasudhan, a 90% physically challenged man, lived with unimaginable hardships. A childhood battle with polio left him unable to stand or walk, yet he never gave up.
With only his elderly mother, Alagammal, by his side, he fought every single day to earn a living. Together, they prepared small snack packets and tea to sell at the beach. The income was uncertain, and many days they struggled even to afford food.
But Ariharasudhan had one dream—not charity, but an opportunity.
He approached The Healer Foundation with a heartfelt request to help him build a small beachside stall so he could earn with dignity and become self-reliant.
Touched by his determination, our team visited his home, spent time with him and his mother, understood their journey, helped purchase the necessary supplies, and built his dream shop.
This is more than the story of a shop. It is the story of courage, a mother's unconditional love, and the incredible power of kindness to transform lives.
