Hotel Review - Old School Starwood Charm at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport

The Elevator Channel Review 8 days ago

Description

While out in Pittsburgh last year, I decided to burn some Marriott points I've been sitting on for a while. I needed a place near the airport with a shuttle, and this Sheraton was pretty cheap and checked all the boxes. Overall, I found it to be a charming time capsule of sorts. The staff was extremely friendly, the place was clean, and it brought me back to a time when I had a lot more admiration for the Marriott/Starwood brands. There's something about the decor from this time period that's just... cozy. I was particularly fond of the plush beds, high quality furnishings, and lighting/color palate. Even though the room was a little dated and beat up, we really enjoyed our time here and would return in a heartbeat.

The free parking and daily housekeeping by default were also much appreciated (and hard to come by in the modern day Marriott system).
