Climate change is massively impacting our growing climates and therefore our food production.
Food forests are a resilient solution because:
* Once establishes, trees & shrubs need much less water than annual crops
* Trees & shrubs adapt to their local microclimate – its soil, weather patterns etc.
* Food is available all year-round, especially in the hungry gap when an annual veg plot isn't producing yet.
* They offer a huge diversity of flavours & nutrients
* Trees & shrubs lock carbon into the soil for decades
* They create a healthy habitat & shade for wildlife, animals & people.
