This male roe deer was going crazy!
This week Louis was called out to a male roe deer trapped in netting.
With no other rescuers available he attended the scene alone! The male deer was stressed and thrashing in the netting. It was an incredibly dangerous situation for both deer and rescuer.
But Louis' experience shone through! he managed to tackle the flying deer and safely remove the netting.
He cut through the last of the netting with his Leatherman raptors and the deer was free. Louis directed him away from the netting and was delighted to watch him bound away into the trees.
A brilliant rescue and heartwarming outcome.
