Here's what it takes to put together a 24 kits for homeless veterans 🙏🏽🙌🏽

Comment LIST for the list of links to of everything I got. This works out to about $10 a kit.

This year I challenged myself to do something charitable every month. Whether that's donating money, donating time, or donating goods.

I'm part of a women's group that has a 60+ year legacy of doing charitable work here in the White Mountains where I live.

This group does so many different projects and helping homeless veterans is one of them. I was inspired at our last meeting to put these kits together and they'll be distributed to veterans who are homeless living in the forest here.

I could have gotten the cheaper more generic items but I wanted them to feel a little bit special and cared for, that they weren't just getting the cheapest stuff that they could probably get themselves at the dollar store.

Have you ever done something like this before?

Here's what's inside:

🧦Socks
🧶Cotton swabs
🔥 2x Hot Hands XL
🧼 Body shower wipes
◻️ Washcloth
🪥 Toiletries kit with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, toothbrush, flossers in a pouch
👃🏽Deodorant
💋 Lip balm
🧴Lotion
🤧 Tissues

P.S. If your local to the White Mountains and you're interested in joining the White Mountains Women's Club, let me know! We have a meeting this Thursday and I'd be happy to bring you as my guest. 🙏🏽💖
