In Paris, a confident Traditional Chinese Medicine sifu treats Pierre, a man who appears physically unwell. Despite intense treatments, something about Pierre’s condition remains unresolved. When a padlock enters the picture, it reveals an issue beyond medicine, triggering a chain of events that leads Pierre toward an unexpected encounter—and a different kind of healing.
This film is to introduce Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) using a fun and interesting way. TCM is a medical system that diagnoses and treats illnesses through pattern differentiation, aiming to rebalance the body’s internal systems using therapies such as acupuncture, fire cupping and many more shown in the film.
This comedic 3D animated short film is a collaborative project by The One Academy TaiChenMo Production, bringing together students from the Digital Animation batch DG2208 and the Illustration batch IL2205
