Pros:
Price $0.43 - $0.54 per stick
Medium soft texture
Nice color variety
Reusable packaging (I took the whole box with me with a band around it to keep it from coming open in my bag and it worked great!)
Cons:
It was lacking a real vivid dark purple. You may want some hard sticks from Conte or Nupastel in the really dark tones for details
No pigment or lightfast info provided
Bottom line: The Paul Rubens student grade soft pastels are very affordable and easy to work with. I see no reason not to give them a try unless you are selling your work because no lightfast info is provided.
