On March 19, 2026 many users lost access to the free tier of Grom Imagine. There was a lot of frustration among users since there was no prior announcement. I never lost access to the Grok Imagine free tier and wondered why.
When I looked into it, I found out that I still have access to the free tier since I have the X Premium plan. So, if you have access to X Premium, you can log into your Grok AI account using your X account and you'll have access to the free tier.
